Jingci New Materials
As national environmental policy tightens, water quality requirements are rising across municipal wastewater, industrial wastewater, aquaculture and landscape water. Conventional processes and media are struggling to keep up, and the industry has entered a peak period of technology iteration. For many years quartz sand and activated carbon have been the default media in China, and although low in cost they have clear shortcomings: low filtration accuracy that struggles to capture fine suspended solids, colloids and some pollutants; weak solids-holding capacity with a tendency to cake and clog, greatly increasing backwash frequency and consuming large amounts of water and power while shortening media life; and surfaces prone to bacterial and algal growth that can cause secondary contamination and destabilise effluent quality.
Against this backdrop, new high-performance purification media represented by JCAFM glass filter media has risen rapidly. With its distinctive advantages it is steadily replacing conventional media and becoming the mainstream choice for upgrading projects across the sector. Made from high-quality glass raw material through a special process, JCAFM glass filter media achieves 1-micron filtration accuracy, effectively capturing fine impurities, colloids and microorganisms to keep effluent within limits. Its high solids-holding capacity and resistance to caking and clogging sharply reduce backwash frequency, delivering clear water and power savings. Its self-antibacterial function suppresses harmful microorganisms and prevents secondary contamination, and its long service life effectively lowers O&M costs. The media is now used across municipal wastewater upgrading, industrial process water treatment, pool and landscape water purification, and freshwater and marine aquaculture — solving many of the pain points of conventional processes, helping companies achieve low-carbon operation, and moving the industry towards greater efficiency, energy saving and environmental protection.
